wait...what?

we are graduating tomorrow. i repeat: we are graduating TOMORROW.

seems like just yesterday that we were filming homemade horror movies on our saturday nights...actually, let's be honest. nothing's really changed. besides maybe our ratchet clothes & hairstyles.

anyways...

we are just gonna say what every senior says the week of their graduation.  high school FLEW by. aaaand now some cliche, yet accurate, advice for the incoming freshmen:

  • please don't ever wear crocs, or associate yourself with people who do.
  • be nice to everyone (except for people who wear crocs). jk but really...
  • don't be afraid to have your own style - no one really cares. (i've been able to look past most things at this point....even crocs i guess)
  • be respectful to your teachers-sucking up is easier than you think.
  • try out for the talent show, sports teams, and be in clubs. it makes high school worth it.
  • don't be scared when it comes to senior year, and you've lost half your friends. happens to the best of us.  the real ones will stick with you.
we are gonna keep this short & sweet cause if we don't, we will probably start bawling our eyes out right here, right now.  we are trying to save SOME tears for Thursday night.

& now we will link arms with you cheerfully and take you on a stroll down memory lane.

the evolution of chels & jace:

until next time. and we sincerely hope we don't leave you hanging as we have been....

"Oh goody!"

If you know us AT ALL, you are well aware that we make sarcastic comments about literally everything...it's actually starting to become a problem.

We actually have a few problems which include taking things tooooo far, eating excessively...always, & using coins instead of cash cause we're too broke. #firstworldproblems.

But we digress...

We have decided to start a new tradish on the blog; we like to call these our "Oh goody!" moments. Reason being, after anything goes even semi- wrong in our lives, you can be certain it is followed by a sarcastic remark.

example: *Jaci rips the back of her pants at a party* nope folks, she doesn't tear up, cuss, or get ridiculously embarrassed...just stands there casually and states..."awesome."

if you don't know us, this is our humor. take it or leave it.

sooo here are a few of our "oh goody!" moments for this week.

  • chelsey walking out to her car after a nice dinner at the bowyer's, getting in, shutting the door, and hearing a terrifying clank. side rear view mirror = gone. jk, but literally hanging on by a small wire. {we tried to give y'all a visual by putting up a picture of it BUUUT our email wasn't working. oh goody.}
  • stepping in tobacco spit while innocently walking through the halls of Gilbert High.
  • being falsely accused of plagiarism at dance.
  • catching bronchitis just in time for our guitar concert.
  • being flipped off while driving on a weekly basis...you would think we are bad drivers or something.
  • jaci printing out her research paper, to find that the printer was out of the paper, as well as the entire household.
  • having your car on empty for the entire week, and using your quarters to fill it up.
sorry about the negativity today; our next post will be semi-uplifting. {cross your fingers}

until next time.

life&pictures

alright...this is getting awkward

sorry we have been MIA for a couple months. senior year is gettin' cray cray.

there's not a good chance you've missed us and are wondering what we've been up to, but in the slightest case that you HAVE...here is what life has looked like lately.

choreographed, taught and performed a dance for the pep assembly with our favorite girls! #DWnation

asked these hunks to MORP..aaand still waiting on a reply.

Jaci celebrated the big 1-8!

did some dancing for charity at the mesa performing arts center! please enjoy jaci's creepy af hand on chelsey's shoulder.

taken on one of the many afternoons jaci has spent with this cute kid.

started up our youtube channel! check it out for a good time.

photo credit to the hilarious & talented Tyson French.

these two love birds celebrated 18 months of adventure & happiness together. cheesy? sorry, not sorry.

one of the shots from our terrifiying, hilarious, yet thrilling trip to downtown phoenix.  probably not the best idea for two innocent young ladies. lemme tell ya, that place is sketch.

jaci took pictures of this adorable family in a cute, retro library with chelsey's assistance. SO FUN.

....speaking of photoshoots, yesterday we went on quite the adventure. don't let the arizona rep. fool you, it was freakin' frigid. no, seriously. we thought our fingers were gonna fall off. {you should have seen the horror on chelsey's face when jaci told her to stick her hand in the water and play with it to get a sweet shot- she's a good sport.}

see? well worth it. meet chelsey the water-bender.

we are ratchet, we know...excuse jaci, she's been in bed all day due to asthma, bronchitis, and a sinus infection. ah, life's good.

sorry for the unnecessarily long, and semi-pointless post but you can expect to hear from us again soon. until next time.

Fallin' into Fall.

¡HOLA!

Happy November everyone!  Like you, we are stoked that fall is finally upon us.

The weather is beautiful, the girls are starting to cover themselves up, aaaand it's cuddling season. ;)

We are especially excited because this joyous time of year brings out some of the good in people that is usually bottled up indoors all blazing summer long.  {especially now that the election is over.}

Amongst these already spectacular perks to autumn, we have developed a list for you of some things we absolutely love!
Enjoy.

#1. Sarcasm...enough said.

#2.  La musica.

Are you tired of the same old songs on the radio?
Nicki Minaj's super creative lyrics and awesome beats just aren't enough anymore?
You find yourself skipping every song that comes on when your iPod's on shuffle?

If so...try amping up your playlist with these little treasures.

#3.  Fall Fashions.

No words can express how thrilled we are to finally be wearing boots, scarves, beanies, blazers, cardigans, etc.

#4. Quotes/Memes
here are a couple of our personal favorites...

don't lie, you lol'ed...but on a more serious note...

#5.  Getting Shot.

............................................................................by Jaci's camera of course.

Until next time folks.

It's Not Easy Being Teen

Hey errr'one.  Our most sincere apologies for our extended absence in the blogging world.  Life as teenage girls can get pretty hard...

which bring us to our topic: the struggles of adolescence.

Fashions to keep up with, reputations to uphold, and the opposite gender to impress.  These are just a few of the many obstacles we face.

1.) FASHION TRENDS

hair bows, combat boots, denim wear, maxi skirts, native patterns, you name it...we want it.

there's only one problem.  we gots no money. oh wait...that's where all our money goes.  it's not our fault that the second you walk into Forever 21 your mind is blown and you have the sudden urge to purchase every beautifully crafted article of clothing and/or accessory in sight. or when you find that "fits perfectly" pair of overpriced jeans at Urban Outfitters and find yourself in the check out line frantically attempting to justify the massive amount of money you're about to spend.  and let's not forget that floral head-wrap you just HAD to have. happens to the best of us...

and boys, we know you're not innocent here.  that 'OBEY' shirt definitely costed a pretty penny.

2.) SOCIAL LIFE

whether you have one friend or thousands, having a social life requires some sacrifice. who has time to turn in that online essay or study for that statistics test when there are football games to attend, homecoming dances to prep for and so on.... and let's just think for a moment about those fridays when you have a major quiz in ALL of your classes. well played teachers...well played.

p.s. honors english, do you really think I am going to waste my precious summer days reading a book that makes about as much sense to me as the 'silly bandz' phase? good joke.

3.) LADIES & GENTS

we all have that special someone(s) we are constantly trying to impress..aaand now you're thinking about him/her. gotchya.

let's just be honest, the reason topics 1 and 2 are so important is because of this person.  girls, we know you aren't wearing those wedges cause they're comfy. ;) and boys, there's no way you're going to that dance concert to "support the performing arts program".

If you check their facebook/instagram multiple times every day...you're not alone. we all do it...i think.

and don't worry about those awkward/embarrassing moments you have in front of them...we've had our fair share of trips, falls, and stutters in front of our significant others and they still like us.  so don't lose hope. all is well.

And as this post comes to a close, we have a few GO's and HECK NO's to share with y'all.

GO's:
- anything studded
- coral, or floral
- flannels....yes please.
- good morning texts.
- cologne
- watches
- winks...enough said.

HECK NO's:
- crocs
- mandals
- mass texts that you thought were personal to you...not cool.
- comb overs
- tails, saggy pants and wife beaters. {please refer to previous post}
- never having a scrub day..loosen up. :)
- over dramatic-ness
- did we mention crocs?

Until next time.
